My list would not be complete without this album. Although my own copy was stolen from my car years ago, I still remember every single song and the moment I first heard it. I had a stack of rubber bracelets and fingerless black lace gloves, and I wore them proudly to many a party. I didn't want to be Madonna, or even be like Madonna. But her never-say-die attitude inspired me and her edginess intrigued me. And she hasn't stopped dancing yet.
