I bought one a little while ago and I love it. AllTheKingsMen from Melbourne, Australia creates messenger bags from recycled airline seatbelts, and they even look like the old style lifejackets that you used to find under your seat.

Available in different sizes, and with enough padding to protect a laptop, and a handy little front pocket and velcro closure.

I have a number of comment whenever I carry it. (via oO's very eclectic)

Hey kids. I'm in the market for a green messenger bag and thought this may be a good option because of the "recycled" seatbelts. There's no reference on their site (http://tinyurl.com/28aaof) to the seatbelts being recycled or reused as it were :(

My friend got one and the seatbelt clasp is not even functional.

With crazy high prices and shipping across the world (for me, to US), this bag is NOT RECOMMENDED.
