Way back in 1990 the good ol' boys from Texas put out a metal masterpiece called "Cowboys From Hell." The album was put out when Pantera was transitioning from a glam rock image (they used to be a hair metal band) to a full on hardcore metal band. The reason I like this CD so much is because it is that transition that prevents them from being too over the top with the metalness while not wearing spandex and prissying out . "Shattered", the title track, "Psycho Holiday " and "Domination."

I saw Pantera on accident. They were touring the Cowboys From Hell album and a friends band was opening for them. Pantera came on and I was blown away. I went out and bought this album the next day and have never looked back.
