Bethany Lowe Belsnickel Ornaments

Description

Belsnickel ornaments are fun because they're Santa's older, more sinister predecessors. Belsnickels of the 1800s used to creep around in grubby clothes, carrying switches to beat bad children with around Christmastime. Obviously Santa was a much better marketing move. (via bethany lowe christmas)
