The HydraCoach is the worlds first Interactive Water Bottle. It calculates your personal hydration needs, tracks your real-time fluid consumption, paces you throughout the day and motivates you to achieve and maintain optimal hydration. Doctors, nutritionists and fitness trainers all recommend that we drink more water yet there has never been a device to help individuals adhere to the expert’s recommendations. $30 (via Daily Candy)

...and to think, all these years I've been carrying around a water bottle that isn't nearly as smart as this one. The HydroCoach is the first interactive water bottle. It calculates real-time fluid consumption, paces you throughout the day and motivates you to achieve and maintain optimal hydration.

Hydration is super important when it comes to your health and fitness. The 8 8oz glasses is a good guideline, but your actual need may be different. This waterbottle calculates your actual hydration needs and tracks your water intake.
This is definitely on my list of things to get.

This is the world's first "intelligent" water bottle that "thinks while you drink" to achieve and maintain healthy hydration.
It calculates your body's hydration needs, tracks your water intake, and paces your consumption for optimal benefits. It displays the amount and percentage of water consumed relative to your daily hydration goals.

Apparently, I'm not drinking enough water. Now that I know that, you know I'm going to go to my usual OCD ADD addictive extreme and drink too much.
Sportline's Hyrdo Water Bottle is like a portable water drinking coach. It has a built-in "hydration calculator" that figures out how much water you really need to consume each day, based on your height and weight (which means that your optimal amount may not even be 8 to 10 glasses). The "Sip Tracker" feature can track how much water you're taking in over the course of the day, so you don't over- or underdo it.
