From the same guys who brought us the fantastic Shaun of the Dead! This movie is British and hilarious. This movie is long (2 hours, 15 min.) and starts out a tad bit slow. Stick with this tho, the last half and especially the end is awesome!

I primarily watched this movie 'cause of the trailer and the the fact that it features the 'Shaun of the Dead' actors. I was pleasantly rewarded.

It's the story of a super-cop working for the London Metro police, "promoted" to a sleepy english countryside town because he was making his co-workers look bad by contrast. We follow his ordeal and adjustments, and his findings in that mysterious village...

It's a British Humor, Mystery and Action film all in one. The first few minutes are awesomely fast and fun, but it slows a bit after that, moving to quite funny realties (in that understated British way, watch the promotion scene). The end is really hilarious with its slightly, um, obsessive criminal plot, and packs plenty of action. In fact I think they marketed this movie as 'From the guys who watched every action movie ever made.'

A great rent, possibly even a buy. Certainly original, fun and a great cast.

i've watched this movie several times (the first time at a filmfest w/th an hysterical crowd was quite something) and i'm still laughing my head off. cannot wait for the next Wright/Pegg collaboration!

A by-the-books, overachieving London cop is "promoted" to the seemingly sleepy English countryside by colleagues who feel threatened by his work ethic. Starring the wonderful pair of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as the rural cop he is partnered with, Hot Fuzz is a wickedly funny, bang-on satire/homage of the buddy-flick (ie. Lethal Weapon, Bad Boys).

If you've seen Pegg, Frost and director, Edgar Wright's previous film, Shaun of the Dead, you'll love Hot Fuzz. It's hilarious, extremely clever and the type of film you'll want to watch over and over again just to catch everything.

I watched this this morning...and it is funny!!! Every cop movie was covered and made fun of.

Hilarious movie that my family loved! So why not buy for them to own?
