Original songs by Karen O and the Kids, the moniker the Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman has given to her band of collaborators on this, the soundtrack of original songs created for the new Spike Jonze movie. Composed by Karen O and co-produced with Afternoons' Tom Biller, contributors include Yeah Yeah Yeahs Nick Zinner and Brian Chase, Dead Weather/Raconteurs members Dean Fertita and Jack Lawrence, Liars' Aaron Hemphill, the Bird and the Bee's Greg Kurstin, Services' Tristan Bechet, and Gris Gris's Oscar Michel - just to name a few. Rounded out by a children's choir, the result is a tailor-made world of class-a tunes to accompany the long-awaited film of epic proportions. Offered here on vinyl. Made in the USA.
