    Douglas Adams helped spawn the 1980's US phenomenon "Sniglets!" That's right.. before there were sniglets there was "The Meaning of Liff." The Liff books (there's a revised & expanded edition called "The Deeper Meaning of Liff") are currently out of print in the USA.
