I have been looking for new wood floors that are modern and my architect recommended taking a look at Oregon Lumber. I like the 7" Microline floors which are wide long planks of engineered construction. The surface is plied wood that has the look of modern streaks, almost like bamboo. The "fumed" white oak is oak that is smoked to a black color. Very cool.
