This album was a staple of my teenage years. There's dramatic guitar fills and the vocal delivery has enough punch and aggression to match up to my teen angst. But it manages to hold up over time. There are some well crafted songs in here. "I Alone" is dark but catchy, s is "Selling the Drama". "Lightening Crashes" is a good song, if you can get past the over-exposure that almost ruins it for me. Overall the album is strong and stands the test of time pretty well.
