A proper gentleman needs a proper pair of leather gloves. Aspinal of London, one of those established English firms, makes right-ho leather products of the finest distinction. The classic pattern for dress gloves is with ruffled edges as shown here, and with the interior lined in silk. However, I would choose Cashmere (sorry tradition) for the superior warmth. Whatever you choose, they're bound to look classically stylish. You can apply a little leather waterproofing treatment to make them winter ready, but your valet should do the snow clearing now, shouldn't he? The traditional casual men's leather glove is without ruffled edges and with a few leather stripes going down the middle. They look pretty similar. Why I know these things, the good lord only knows. If you'd like a pair of gloves like these but aren't particularly fond of the Dollar to Pound Sterling rate, you can get very good gloves that are almost identical here: http://www.leatherglovesonline.com
These are just COOL. Just Cool.
