While I'm not a big fan of artists that do covers, Nouvelle Vague's Bande a Part has become an exception. The album is exceptional. The music style is "Bossa Nova" and their spin on the covers they did are amazing. I still have not been able to identify who does the female vocals, but they are seductive, sultry and just absolutely beautiful. If you are a fan of Bossa, this is a must have album.

French cover band Nouvelle Vague was one of my favorite CD finds last year. Though classified under the genres pop, alternative, rock, and chill, these are not very accurate description of their music. They're sort of nouveau bossa nova, if that even exists.
