I have always been a fan of ammonites. They are an extinct group of marine animals and make excellent fossils. They just look so damned cool. Anyway, the Etsy seller, silentcheesecake has made a beautiful, simple little curio containing one.
From the seller:
This specimen assemblage contains a displayed ammonite fossil with two little leaves. The acrylic magnified lid can be removed to touch the specimens. Every piece is glued and can not fall out.These little wonders are very popular with children.
