Description
The Tori Amos: A Piano boxed set is seriously gorgeous. I had such a problem trying to decide which disc to listen to first, or to watch the dvd, or to read the hardcover booklet -- which first! Remasters, remixes, b-sides, and unreleased tracks -- what more can you ask for from the queen of confessional lyrics, siren-esque vocals and sensual arrangements. Best of all, who can resist packaging like this: a greater-than-an-octave plastic piano keyboard, absolutely perfect!

Description
the boxset all Tori Amos fans have been waiting for! Half greatest hits, half unreleased material, A PIANO: THE COLLECTION is full of little treasures: alternative mixes, b-sides, demos, unreleased tracks... not to mention the impressive packaging in a keyboard shape box! booklet features tori comments on some tracks, as well as never-seen-before pics. for those who don't have much money, a long box version is also available (which is more handy, caus the original boxset is kinda fragile).

Description
Tori Amos is one of those musicians that you've heard about a lot, for a long time, but keeps surprising you. Her fanbase is big and loyal, even though she keeps talking about fairies and having margaritas with Jesus. This is a "best of" collection, her second, but with a twist: the arrengments and vocals have been edited, so now every song sounds different, but continues to demostrate the wonderful piano sound and lyrics that made us fall in love with them.
It also features eight new songs, with titles like "Not David Bowie", "Dolphin Song" and -my favorite- "Take me With you". For someone who's been listening to her for ten years, this is one of those albums that gives you hope and makes you bouncy, because oh, dear, if the next albums are anything like this one, we're going to need a lot of money to get them all. It's fascinating, heart-breaking, amazing... and if you don't know who Tori is or why we love her so much, this is the album to listen to. You'll go through all the eras, find the best songs, and you'll love her too. (via revolutionarygirl)
