Some animals are not well-shaped to become kids' toys. Something about, say, beetles and eagles just isn't right for conversion into children's items. The silhouettes are too complicated, or too regular, or too...something. Giraffes and elephants, though, and pigs, illustrate the kind of animal-outline whimsy that kids are often drawn to. Blow 'em up to 20 inches in the long direction and make cushions out of 'em with Dwell prints (in colorways of either pink, pear, and chocolate or chocolate, white, and pale blue), and suddenly you've got clean, comfortable, indoor-friendly versions of interesting outdoor animals. Your kids will want to hug them for years. (via Design Public)
