I had to do a triple take when I first saw Lovegrove and Repucci’s New York Deft Plate Set. At first sight I thought to myself, “What on earth are we doing carrying my Grandma’s plates?!” Then I thought, “Maybe this is back in style and I missed the memo.” I got all excited because my grandma just recently gave me her set and although they are not really my cup-o-tea, if they are now in style I am in the clear. Then I realized the detailing included a taxi, a truck, a hotdog stand, and graffiti and I thought, “Snap! These are awesome!” (via Design Public)
