CdP is a beautiful town/area and produces consistently great wines. Clos des Papes is a stand-out in a high-quality crowd. The best way to get this wine is to go to Provence yourself and buy it! (via Todd)

I love Chateauneuf du Pape (CdP for the wine geeks). 2003 was a tremendous vintage that is mostly backward and big and will age for a while. Clos des Papes made a great one. Buy it up if you can find it, but WS's recognition as the #3 wine of the year has driven the price way up. (via Wine Spectator)
