The real way to go green. In the true spirit of renew and recycle, artisan Robert Ogden collects mechanical gizmos, vintage parts and decorative doodads from flea markets, factories, junk yards—you name it—to create his quirky, functional works of industrial art. This weird-and-wonderful floor lamp is an amalgam of utilitarian parts—a green enamel shade from an old gas station, a counterweight that used to be an old saw crank adjuster, and a spool base from an old knitting factory. In addition to its one-of-a-kind good looks, it’s also quite versatile, swiveling and adjusting to shed light wherever it’s most needed. Iron with brass settings.
