With a house full of active little people, I'm just not allowed to get sick. It's in my contract.
Recently, a certain somebody-who-shall-remain-nameless gave me their bug, and like all child germs, it knocked me out FLAT. After three days of misery (not even AirBorne could kick this one), I dragged myself to Whole Foods in search of a cure. To my joy, Lauren recommended Apitherapy Honey Elderberry Extract. Oh. My. Goodness. It did the trick and after the first dose, yes FIRST dose, most of my symptoms were relieved. The next morning, my 8yr old said, "Mom, you look all better." And I was, but I played sick anyway to get a few extra chores out of him.
