  This is the stellar sequel to the Academy Award nominated City of God which is a true-to-life story of two youths immersed in the gang warfare and violence of Rio de Janeiro's dangerous slums. It's an inspiring, highly emotional drama. What's cool is that's based off of a television series with the same actors that's been running for the past few years, so all of the flashbacks are convincing since they use the actors but at a younger age.
