My kids (9 and 11) have been riding this continuosly for almost a year now. We have hard wood floors that they ride it on and there hasn't been any damage -- not that I would recommend that if your floors are new or in great shape or anything. Every kid who visits our house loves this.

My 2 year old son, Oliver, loves this scooter/car hybrid vehicle. The plasma is really easy for kids to control and it appears to handle really well. I think they enjoy the feelings of mastery, motion, and physical control the Plasma car provides them. All in all, highly recommended as a toy that engages both a toddler's body and mind.

My 5 and 14yr olds love this thing and we too have hardwood floors. I haven't had any marking on the floor. I don't know why the site even mentions it. But whatever. I want to pick up a few more for friends and family. We can get a game of tag going. :)

I have lots of grandchildren who would each love to have one of these. It looks fun.

My kids love the Plasma Car and can’t wait to get on it each day. The car is amazing as it propels forward practically on its own as you move the wheel back and forth. Even my husband at 200 lbs tried it out. He looked silly but it moved and it was a show stopper. Great for getting kids outdoors and away from the TV! (via sensoryedge.com)

This is the best toy ever made. Both of my kids like it. Highly recommended!

Still in almost daily use a year later and though much-abused by children as old as 42 and as young as 3 this thing keeps on going. A well-executed design is always a joy to own. Highly recommend. Do not use on hardwood floors as it can leave marks, especially with heavier...er, children.
