EPS is made up of 98% air, when struck this air creates a loud noise. By changing the density of the polystyrene different musical tones can be achieved. Every child at some point want to play drums. Every parent knows children go through phases and grow out of their toys. The kit allows children to turn a habit into a hobby and parents
to nurture their child's imagination. Drumming is good exercise and can improve co-ordination.
EPS is cost effective, so the drums are low risk for purchasing parents. If drumming does turn out to be a phase, the kit can still be used as building blocks and furniture. It can also be recycled at the end of its life.
The kit also packs up like a Russion doll to save space.
