  I love Silversun Pickups foremost because they got their name from the package store where I buy my liquor a lot of the time, but also because singer/bassist Nikki Monninger is so fierce and has this weird, scary voice that gives me shivers, and because there's something about the guitar sound that's really dreamy and reminds me lots of Smashing Pumpkins, in the best way (and I never even cared all that much about Smashing Pumpkins in the first place). Favorite track: "Lazy Eye."

  I've really enjoyed Silversun Pickups ever since I got to LA. At home...doesn't quite fit as well. But here, I can feel like an angsty hipster/surfer/beach child anytime I want.

  Okay, so- the first 5 times i heard this band I thought the lead singer was a girl. Since i really don't like female vocalists, but strangely likes this band, i looked up one of their videos and fell in love.Brian Aubert has such an amazing voice. i love this band and their ability to sound deep and sexy one minute ( Catch and Release [Swoon] ) and Grunge the next (Well thought out Twinkles [ Carnavas] ) this band has all the bases covered.
