Here's the thing about BlueHost. It's very affordable. Does it hold up? Sure. It's a massive company. Yes, there have been complaints, but here is the aspect I like about them: storage.

When it comes to hosting your own site, you need a host, a place to store your web page out there in the world wide web. The amount of space for data and amount of data that is transferred (the more people who view your website, the more that data must be called, used and transfered to that person's computer. this is called Bandwidth) determines the price of your web hosting package.

BlueHost is so cheap for what you get: 300 GB Storage Space and 3000GB Bandwidth. If you actually need that much bandwidth, you probably should be making a million dollars.

And my last recommendation is this and this is something I use no matter what host I choose for a website. Always buy your domain somewhere else and keep it separate. It's easy to leave a hosting company, but if you have your domain and host in the same package, it can be a more difficult process. I like to have control of my domains.
