Dexter is great TV. Especially and only the first season. Dexter is serial killer born of horrible traumatic circumstance. In order to control his blood lust he lives by a code taught to him by his adoptive father- he only kills bad guys. So he's a killer by night and a blood splatter expert for the MIAMI P.D. by day. Wow. Who'd have thunk that a serial killer could be the protagonist in a TV series. I have to say this is a pretty cool series.

I saw the first episode and vowed to never watch it ever again. I got bored, watched the second episode and and couldn't stop myself. It's the type of show that yoiu feel bad watching, but simply can stop. A lot of you may have cought this during the CBS syndication. If so, you really missed out and I'd encourage the DVDs.

Wonderfully weird and two steps off-beat, Michael C. Hall is hypnotic as a Miami Police Department blood spatter analyst, visiting crime scenes and helping figure out what happened by day. During his off hours, he tracks down some very, very bad people who for various reasons have eluded the proper authorities, and, himself a serial-killer, dispatches them with clinical precision.

A great series from Showtime about a serial killer who works at the police station as a blood splatter expert. One of my all time favorite shows on tv.
