I like it hot and this salsa is pretty darn hot. Not so hot that you can't chow down like crazy on this salsa but just hot enough to burn in that so good kinda of way. Basically this is a great grocery store salsa if you like it hot. This isn't a chunky salsa but its pretty thick and effective.
