It's another biting cold winter day, thankfully there's plenty of hot soup and also the cool new Double-Handled Soup Bowls ($28) to serve it in. These fully glazed heat-retaining porcelain bowls hold 13 ounces of your favorite hearty soup and you won't burn your fingers travelling from stovetop to tabletop when you carry the bowl by its double handles. Of course, these bowls are also microwave, oven and dishwasher safe and come in a set of 4. Great deal for some great bowls. (via The Green Head)

A traditional serving piece for this season's hearty soups, chowders, and stews. They are made from durable and oven-safe porcelain, which means you can make pot piees or melt cheese over soup in the oven before serving. Porcelain is also great for retaining heat, so you're soup won't get cold while you slowly savor it at the dinner table. Call me high maintenance, but I can't imagine why I'd eat soup in anything else.
