Yes, everyone named David can relate to "No David!" and thinks that David Shannon wrote the book about and for them. I am no different. "No David!"is all about my childhood.

My kids love this book. While they giggled over my reading this book to them, they howl with their biggest belly laughs as I read it as "Yes David!" We change all of the bad things into commands from Mom. While I can convert spilling juice on the floor to positively redecorating, I can't make pulling the cat's tail positive.

If you haven't read "No David!" (or any David Shannon book for that matter), you really should. You owe it to your (inner?) child.
