My kids LOVE this game (and so do I). My kids are ages 6 and 5 and they can play it by themselves. I do like to play with them as well, because there are some things I can figure out that they can't, but it makes for great time spent as a family. The Lego figures are so cute and the episodes stay true to the acutal movies. In fact, after playing this game, we had to dig out the movies and watch them again (and over and over). My kids are now true Star Wars fans!
