This game is hard to talk about in just a few sentences. Basically Mass Effect is an open ended role playing game. In essence the game designers have created a very large world, in this particular case, a few galaxies, to explore! You begin the game by choosing from a few pre - created characters you wish to role play with in game.

You are then thrust into a sci-fi world involving aliens and the need to save the whole galaxy from a species set on eradicating all life. The story is very well done and is told through the various characters in game. An aspect that stood out for me graphics wise, was how well the facial expressions of the characters were. Games have come very far in being able to portray emotion.

Overall I had a great time playing this game. I played just for the sake of getting to the "game over" screen, but I may need to do another play through to fully appreciate everything that I had missed.

One of the best RPG games ever made.

Incredibly gripping story, fun real-time gameplay, and excellent graphics.
This is the first part of a 3-part series, that's better written than most Hollywood movies.
