I submit that you have not lived until you have eaten Joseph Schmidt chocolate. Famous for his detailed chocolate sculptures and sumptuous truffles, he's the San Francisco chocolatier you don't hear about, working out of a quaint little shop in the heart of the Castro. His truffles are a perennial christmas treat for my whole family.
