My dad had this print in his study, and I've been looking for vintage framed versions for years but will settle on this and frame it myself. By Charles Allan Gilbert, American Illustrator, 1873 - 1929, this image is considered an excellent execution of optical illusion.
The 12 x 18" size is good, as too large would imply a certain degree of "gothness" on the owner's behalf.
