This season has provided us with a bumper crop of floral designs, some using photographs, others delicately embroidered and still others miniature versions of paintings. All beautiful, but my favorite are the Finnish Marimekko patterns. Almost childlike, they are so whimsical and evocative of the spirit of spring.
