This makes for a non-typical souvenir for NYC. It's perfect for people like me that sit next to a computer all day and need some fuel to make it through.

Being from NY, I've seen the paper version a million and a half times. This version: ecoofriendly!

Great cup to have around, especially if you're transplanted on the west coast with nary a NY deli around. No handles on this cup, so drinking hot beverages (if they're really hot like you want them to be) tend to be a little difficult in the first few minutes. Microwave and dishwasher safe, but if you keep drinking coffee/tea in this cup like you want to, you may find that you'll need to scrub the insides of the cup just that much harder, since the material is quite porous (no shiny glazes).

These are great! Every cup has a little bit of old, dirty, pre-disneyfication in every sip. (via Jamaica Blue Mountain Traders)

I love it! I can't say that I have ever had coffee from the paper cup version since I am a Starbucks and sometimes Cosi girl; however, I love seeing these cups and having a ceramic version would be too cute! I think I will add this to my list because this is just too cute!

Great idea for the coffee drinker in your life...and definitely a must for any New Yorker you know!

Facts from GroovyMind:
Two groovy ceramic 'Sweetheart' cups. Go eco and dump the disposables with these ceramic versions of the ubiquitous Greek paper take out cup. Every year 180,000,000 of these paper cups are disposed of in New York City alone. With this pair of great ceramic, handle free cups, you can keep your coffee/tea hot while you keep your hands cool! Made in a Fair Trade factory by Aid to Artisans. Dishwasher and microwave safe. Take them on the go. Show you're eco!
