No better way to get a total body workout with natural motions and give those joints a break off the road if you are a runner. Even if you aren’t a runner this equipment is AWESOME! I have one in my gym at home and I often do a circuit with the elliptical and treadmil

I do 90% of my cardio on elliptical machines. I'm 248 lbs and have large flat feet, not a good combination for running which impacts the knees. Since switching to ellipticals, I haven't had any shin splints or knee problems. Further, ellipticals give you a good arm pump which is why I prefer them to bicycling.
