This Italian cheese is incredibly perishable and fresh so we needed to find a California producer. Gioia’s is fabulous.

Love Burrata - truely sinful! Love to enjoy with figs, proscuitto and pistachios as well as with torn basil, fresh basil & balsamic glaze. Although Gioia has a good product, I've found the best domestic-made Burrata by Cantare Foods in San Diego CA. I found it at Whole Foods Markets and I noticed that is has a bit longer shelf life than any other cheese I've tried. Thanks again! (via JenEno)
