Canon Rebel XSi As easy to use as some point-and-shoots, the 12-megapixel Rebel has better image quality than any other basic SLR we've seen. Its LCD can compose in live-view mode. Lightweight construction and a modest price tag.

This Canon Digital Rebel XSi 12.2 MP Digital SLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens is both a top rated digital SLR with critics and customers alike. One of my favorite features of this camera is not the 12.2 MP image processor which will have even your largest blow ups crystal clear but ti's the auto lighting optimize. You won't have to worry about under or over exposed photos again!
