This solo album by Rowland S. Howard was released in 1999. All Music describes it as "it's a long, roiling howl of pain, wrought from the place where rock & roll loss and grief meet blues textures and near-gothic soundscapes" but all I know is it's raw and tender and speaks to me.

Rowland was a founding member of The Birthday Party, The Bad Seeds, Crime and the City Solution, and These Immortal Souls, and has collaborated with artists as diverse as Lydia Lunch, Nikki Sudden, Kas Produkt, Barry Adamson, Einstürzende Neubauten, Jeffrey Lee Pierce, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and Henry Rollins.
