well, to admit, i'm working on a biography of Lewis Carroll and so anything with a clever Lewis Carroll tie in will appeal to me right now ("through the looiking GRASS" insead of glass - clever. But i have always liked the idea of an urban lawn for those who live in the city and want a little bit of nature.... these are charming, fresh, decorative.... (via metaphys)

Longing for the days when you could run around barefoot in cool, soft grass?
You might be able to find a tiny patch of grass hidden out there in the concrete and glass jungle we live in, but that's only on the weekends anyway. During the week, you're stuck inside your office. At least dream about green with Chiaki Murata's stackable white mod grass planters. The individual planters can be hung on walls, or displayed on your desk.
If you stack them on the floor, you might even be able to stick your big toe between a few blades. Just don't let your boss catch you without your shoes on. (via Metaphys)

If you live in a house, with a yard, this would probably be a little pointless -- but for you uber-urban dwellers, here's a way to get a little green inside the house. Honestly, the real reason to get this is 'cause it looks cool, and is a much sleeker look than houseplants. Trust me, we tried houseplants in our current place, and it looks like an unkempt mess. This is the way to keep nature inside without it screwing up your entire aesthetic. (via productdose)
