The original Joy of Cooking is like a bible. I rely on it for basic techniques and information about ingredients, which is more useful in the long run rather than simply listing out steps to make specific dishes. I can only suspect that a special book all about breakfast and brunch from the same authors would be just as reliable.

I love making breakfast. Something about waking up on a Sunday morning with nothing to do but prepare a huge spread of french toast and coffee while listening to music just makes me the happiest girl in the whole world. This cookbook is a much needed addition in my life.
