Okay, you know that terrible movie that Lori Petty was in? That movie was based off this comic, and let me tell you, it is WAY better than they ever did with the movie.
Crazy British comic art and writing. Well worth a look for anyone who enjoys the 2000AD comic or its like.
Personally it is all the little extra details added into every scene and on to each panel that makes this so special, as there are truly the WTF! moments when you spot something hidden away for the first time, even though you have read the book once or twice already.
This does cover a lot of topics including sex, drugs and alcohol, so it really isn't a 'child friendly' sort of comic.
The collected editions, which are formed into the big graphic novels are worth it for the extra gems added in, like sketches, history, and of course some of the guys feedback on what they thought of the movie process. (via Amazon)
