When roasting a turkey I do not think a Flavor Injector is really necessary. If you are going to fry one, well that's a different story. This Flavor Injector will really do the trick. Put your favorite herbs, spices and oils into this bad boy and taste the difference.
this year was our first venture into cooking and hosting a full thanksgiving meal at our home. The flavor injector (not this actual over-priced model however) was invaluable to our final product. It's a great way to ensure a juicy turkey. A dry turkey is just unacceptable considering the existence of flavor injector "technology!" Make sure you have plenty of "sauce" to inject, do it before putting your birdie in the oven, and it will be juicy; you can bet on it!
