The first time I was introduced to Dave Eggers it was through his short stories. I tracked down this book and read it and really (as cheesy as it sounds) agree = this is a work of genius. How did Eggers manage to pinpoint the stream of conscious to such an accurate and in tune degree? That has to be my favorite aspect although I love every word written in this novel

I read this book years ago. Loved it! I think you would like Milan Kundera's book...The Unbearable Lightness of Being

I read this book and instantly knew it would be in heavy rotation. The clever wit of Dave Eggers makes this book truly remarkable. It leaves you in a sort of half-smile, wishing you were that clever.

Trivia: Dave Egger's little brother, Christopher, was my brother's roommate (for a brief period) at Choate Rosemary Hall. Small world, huh?
