If you're as obsessed with your pets as I am, then you obviously care what you feed them. And since you're spending big $$$ on their food (and most likely you're buying the big bags b/c you get a better bargain that way), then it only makes sense that you want their kibble to remain as fresh as the day you opened the bag. However, food that is exposed to air will become stale (just like a day old baguette!). I purchased the Vittles Vault to make sure that their food stays fresh. It's stackable, compact, and holds A LOT more than it looks like it will. Believe them when they tell you that it will hold 40 lbs of dog food. I buy the 18 lb bags and they're not even half filled! (As a last note they can be used in two different positions as well....upright and forward.)
