The Voltaic Messenger is a laptop sized bag that is designed to charge your mobile devices. However, even though it is designed to hold a laptop, it does not generate enough power to charge or power a laptop. It can charge and power things like a cell phone, pda, satellite phone, GPS system, and iPod. The solar panel is attached to a lithium-ion battery pack so you can charge the bag up and use it when necessary. The bags are made from recycled soda bottles and available in several colors.
