Cuisinart's Dual Food Processor and Blender is perfect for the tiniest kitchen that is still enough of a kitchen to legally be called a "kitchen" instead of "closet with stove, refrigerator and sink." The blender top and the food processor basin are interchangeable on the same base, and while the duet may not have as much juice as a separate giant food processor and a separate giant blender, this baby still has power.
With the food processor, I puree vegetables for soups (which, as hot liquids, should always be done in batches anyway!), use the disc attachment to slice and dice like an Iron Chef, and grind up a mean pesto.
The blender is perfect for whirling blackberries, yogurt, and pomegranate juice into an ass-kicking antioxidant cocktail.
