Description
My friends though I'd gone off the deep end of natural toys when they saw this. It is what it is, all wood, finished in beeswax. The rings are of different wood colors and grains.
Both my kids love this toy. The only problem I had with it was that the stick in the middle needed to be reglued in, and shortened, because it stuck out precipitously from the rings. I wasn't willing to go through the hassle or ordering another, when the problem was so small. A short trip to the hardware store, and its perfect. I had it cut with a clean circular saw, and I glued it with a non-toxic glue.
I really like the Canadian (Vancouver) based Natural Pod site that this toy comes from. Not a problem to pay in U.S. dollars and have it shipped, though the exchange is not in U.S. favor these days!
