I'm a child of the 80's and like everyone else, I fell victim to the powerful allure of the nearly unsolvable, stress-inducing Rubik's Cube. Also like everyone else, when I gave up, I just peeled off the colored square stickers, re-attached them in the correct order and pretended that it was solved, much to the disbelief of many skeptical friends. Instead of colored stickers, this amazing puzzle cube uses color-changing lights in every square and advanced touch sensor technology on all six sides. Rather than turning each section to line up the colors, just swipe your finger across the squares and the lights will follow, emulating a twist or turn and perfectly mimicking any move of the original. The TouchCube also features a motion-detecting accelerometer to eliminate false moves, modern sound effects or an actual recording of the original Cube's twist and built-in memory to save your puzzle, so you can continue where you left off. Best of all, you won't need to dismantle this puzzle against a brick wall when you finally give up, because it offers up hints to help you out, lets you undo a wrong move or simply solves itself right before your very eyes. When not in use, it recharges in a desktop stand and pulsates, fades and changes colors like a captivating mini light show.
