I think this is my favorite thing Madonna has ever done. Her appearance in this movie and the song "This Used to be my Playground" from the movie were great. Plus I think this was the only time Rosie O'Donnell was cool.

An embellishment of a true story, this movie makes you wonder why women don't yet really have a baseball league of their own. We know they can play and, as someone said in another film, "if you build it he will come."

Start singing their anthem and you'll never get it out of your head. As for the film, it's one that you wont forget. Obviously great performances from the team. But the home run for me is Tom Hanks. Is this ironic that i'm claiming the star to be the only starring male role?
