This is a just in case sort of thing. I haven't actually tried one. Don't really want to, but it would beat starving or foraging. Now I need to go out and get some extra bottled water...just in case. (via amazon.com)

I already have a survival kit in the trunk of my car,so i might as well add this!lol! Winters here do get pretty brutal! I wonder about the taste!?Ha,i guess if you really need to eat this it would'nt matter!This kit includes 3 breakfasts,3 side vegetables and six 10 ounce packets of dinner entrees.Ideal for emergencies since it has 7-year shelf life. This looks like it is for several people, I say screw that - if there is impending doom, save it all for you. It will last a lot longer than 72 hours. I think the end of days is a good excuse for being selfish. Evolve, people!
